Saint James was founded in 1928 as a congregation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and a daughter congregation of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Today, Saint James is an independent Lutheran Congregation of about 1000 communicant members who reside throughout the Twin Cities metro area. We support several missions projects both locally and worldwide.
Four staff pastors and a full-time youth director serve the church with additional administrative and music staff.
We offer several Bible classes throughout the week and as well as programs for youth, music, and other social and service groups. Take a look at our calendar to find out what is going on this week!
Worship Services are held on Sundays at 9:00 in summer between Memorial and Labor Day. The rest of the year, services are held at 8:00 am and 10:30 am with Bible classes and Sunday School at 9:15. Contemporary ‘Sonrise’ Worship services are also held year-round on Monday evenings at 6:30. There is no dress code, and while some choose to wear their ‘Sunday best’ others wear jeans and t-shirts. We just want you to feel welcome.
Saint James is located at 460 West Annapolis Street in West St. Paul, Minnesota (55118) on the intersection of Annapolis and Cherokee Avenue. We are easily accessible by taking the Highway 13 exit from 35E. Go east on Highway 13. Turn Right on Annapolis and the church will be on your right.
