Leviticus – The LORD Speaks to Us Today
Leviticus chapter 8 tells the story of the consecration of the priesthood. The ritual of ordination lasts for seven days. Aaron and his sons are not consecrated by a single act, but by the whole process which requires them not to leave the entrance of the Tent of Meeting for any reason until the ordination week is complete. How does chapter 8 prepare us for the continuation of the story in chapter 9? How is Jesus portrayed in these rituals? Your comments and questions are encouraged. All are welcome.
