The NAT-Force will bring its final work to the May congregational meeting. We will present two items:
Recommendation on governance. This is a suggestion in keeping with our Strategic Plan to simplify how we make decisions at Saint James. While the recommendation maintains the current levels of responsibility for decision making, this activity should be made quicker and simpler through smaller focused groups and task-forces. Watch for an email that will provide an advance look at this proposal, or pick up a copy at the Welcome Center.
Hand-off of support work for a Human Resources Committee. Needs for staffing far beyond replacing Pastor Rokke came before the NAT-Force. Many of these needs will recur in years to come. We recommend that an HR committee anticipate and address them.
