Ash Wednesday falls on March 1 this year. As is our custom here at Saint James, we will read the Passion History together once again, as we observe the forty days of Lent in services each Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
The season of Lent is a time of prayer, and the theme for this year’s Lenten sermon series will be “Prayer Is Crucial.” The sermons will focus on the seven words of Jesus from the cross, combining each one with a petition of the Lord’s Prayer.
